Times are tough in this world today. God is moving us to be warriors for him. We will not be defeated for Christ reigns forever.  When we become children of God, we inherit God’s blessings and God’s enemies as well. Don’t let the enemy (the devil) cast doubt in you. For the word is the TRUTH! He has left us his words to live in us as his spirit. Know what it says. Even if you just look up a scripture a day and start memorizing what speaks to you that will give you power over the enemy. Put your whole armor on and be the light to this world.

Scripture reading:Ephesians Chapter 6.

Having Girded Your Waist With Truth (Eph 6:14): To gird the truth is to protect your emotions to believe the truth and not allow fear, doubt or self-pity to set in for that is what the enemy wants.

Having Put On the Breastplate of Righteousness (Eph. 6:14):  The breast is the heart of the soul. It must be kept pure and rightous because sin gives a foothold to the enemy.

The Shield of Faith(Eph 6:16): Our faith acts as an invisible shield that deflects the enemy for filling us with lies. Fear, dout, guilt, shame.

The Helmet of Salvation (Eph 6:17): The helmet protects the head, this is the brain and thoughts.

The Sword of the Spirit ( Eph 6:17): The word of God acts like a sword. It’s the only weapon Jesus used against Satan. The living word is powerful and give us the power to speak truth and life in our lives and the lives of others. Satan must be gone at the sound of the name of Jesus.

Praying Always (6:18): Prayer keeps the communication line open to us and God. In the times of warfare we must keep the constant communication open to rebuke the strongholds on our lives and loved ones. I know we get busy or we say I have no time but you can pray in your car, in the shower any where just keep praying the quit times will come! Ask for God’s favor on your life as a demonstration of the Holy Spirit. Ask that he show something in your life that people will see him in you. We are the light of this world let’s shine bright and defeat the enemy daily!
